"Eye of Horus" by Denilce Luca

The Eye of Horus (‘wedjat’) represents a human eye with the cheek markings of a falcon – the god Horus.

In myth, Horus battled with Seth, god of chaos, for the throne of Egypt and lost his left eye. The eye was healed by the goddess of god and beauty, Hathor.

The Eye of Horus came to symbolise healing and ‘making whole’.
